Yulio Technologies launches the first VR course for interior design

Leading virtual reality (VR) provider for architecture and design technologies, Yulio Technologies, has announced a new training course officially registered with the Interior Design Continuing Education Council (IDCEC) for continuing education units ( THIS U).

The course entitled “The new reality of virtual reality” is a groundbreaking Yulio that provides insight into the growing applications of virtual reality within enterprises, with a primary focus on its impact on architecture and design. Users will be able to learn common VR terminology, assess how to use the technology in their operations, and analyze three real VR case studies, helping to teach problem solving.

The practical orientation of the course will prepare people in interior design with a number of tips on implementation, analysis techniques and how to get the most out of technologies in order to expand the set of tools available for architecture and design. The course has been endorsed by IDCEC and CEUs, ensuring that it meets the standard needed to ensure effective teaching materials for users.

As CEUs are earned from educational experiences with industry specialists such as Yulio Technologies, course users will earn units for their continued development. For example, the American Society of Interior Designers requires a minimum of 1.0 units every two years. “The new reality of virtual reality” issued by Yulio Technologies is worth about 0.1 units. This system is in place to ensure designers stay abreast of the ever-changing landscape of technology and industry.

This isn’t the first venture into virtual reality for Yulio Technologies, as in November last year the company also launched a ‘VR for business‘ Email course which is a five part course. Aimed at those who want to integrate VR technologies into their business structure, the course is completely free. Elsewhere, they also posted heat mapping for gaze tracking in virtual reality, which provides more accurate images of user interest and attention in virtual reality experiences.

VRV Focus will be sure to bring you all the latest from Yulio Technologies in the future, so stay tuned for more.
