TalentSprint, an edtech company of the NSE group, has launched a PG certificate program in visual design and user experience. The company has partnered with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-Hyderabad) to deliver the course.
The course is aimed at aspiring and practicing designers, researchers, entrepreneurs, animators and UI professionals. Graduates with one year of experience are eligible to join the course, according to a statement from TalentSprint.
Those who have completed the six-month online interactive program will earn an IIT-H certificate. The course is priced at ₹ 3 lakh. The first cohort will start in August.
The six-month program, designed by the Design Department at IIT-H, aims to teach working professionals to create user-centered digital experiences. The program includes the essential elements of design and design thinking, visual thinking, digital storytelling, graphic design and visual branding.
A campus tour is likely at the end of the six-month program, where participants will have the opportunity to present their work to leading industry experts and academics, according to Deepak John Mathew, head of the department of design (IIT-H), said.
“UX and visual design have enormous career potential across the world,” said Santanu Paul, CEO and Managing Director of TalentSprint.
