The Queen’s Management School at Queen’s University Belfast is currently seeking to appoint an outstanding candidate for the post of Lecturer/Lecturer in Human Resource Management (HRM)/Organizational Behavior (OB). This is a key position within the HRMOB group at Queen’s Management School. At a time of growth, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape and strengthen the future direction of the HRMOB group, both from a research and teaching perspective. Our supportive research environment enables participation in national/international conferences, facilitates the search for high-quality publications, and fosters meaningful engagement with non-academic stakeholders. The nominated candidate will have the opportunity to interact and work with colleagues whose research is internationally recognized for its excellence and high societal impact. Current and incoming members of the HRMOB group have published their work in leading scholarly journals, including Journal of Management, Journal of Organizational Behaviour, Human Relations, Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, Work, Employment & Society, and Human Resource Management Journal.

The application of successful candidates must clearly demonstrate:

  • A PhD in HRM/OB or a related discipline.
  • Recognized excellence and reputation in HRM/OB fields.
  • A sustained publication record of international excellence in HRM/OB fields.
  • Experience teaching and evaluating HRM/OB at the university level.
  • The ability to contribute to the successful and sustained supervision of postgraduate students as a primary supervisor, normally at doctoral level.
