TRUSSVILLE – The interior design of Ferus Artisan Ales is award winning. The Trussville Brewery on Beech Street was one of three projects by Birmingham interior design firm TurnerBatson to win a 2021 IDIE Award presented by the International Interior Design Association – Alabama Chapter (IIDA-AL).
The awards highlight the exemplary work of section members and celebrate excellence in interior design. The winners were announced and honored at an event on Friday September 24, 2021 at the Club.
The TurnerBatson project recipients included Best of Large Corporate: Church of the Highlands – Central Office Renovation (client: Church of the Highlands); Best of Hospitality: Ferus Artisan Ales (Client: Coby Lake); and Best of Small Institutional: Adamsville Elementary School – Media Center (Client: Jefferson County Schools).

The biennial awards program invites organizations, businesses and furniture dealers to submit projects completed within the previous two years. Submissions are judged by a panel of professional peers who practice in other areas of the market. This year’s awards attracted 82 entries from 24 companies and furniture dealers.
